Really beautiful church from the outside, especially its interesting colourful roof. The tickets for going inside are quite expensive (1800 HUF, taking into account what you get for that...) so we decided not to go there.

My partner and i loved walking around the church and looking at all the intricacies. The roof is outstanding and there is alot to look at inside and out. Would recommend a visit.

Me and my wife went to Budapest in june and had a wonderful experience visiting the St Mattias churh on the Buda side of Budapest. its definitely worth the admission fee if you have the time. Otherwise also the views are stunning.

We bought a big bus tour ticket with free castle bus shuttle. Definitely worth it on a rainy day to see as much of the castle grounds as possible. We would never have found Matthias church without it. In the rain we just won’t have...More

we went with a tour group. I didn't see individual head set audio guides but I'm not sure if they are available or not.

We honestly can’t remember except that we climbed stairs to a 2nd & 3rd level to see more of the church. We did pay separately to climb stairs within the Fisherman’s Bastion. Whenever there is an option to go higher and see... More
