We rented ebikes to get to the gorge, which was a great way to get from the center of Bled to the gorge. It was truly wonderful to see the river winding through the gorge, crystal clear water showing several fish swimming around. Great experience...More
I would highly recommend the Vintgar gorge and waterfalls for anyone visiting Lake Bled.
Tips: start early to avoid late morning/afternoon crowds and bring good walking shoes and light rain jacket. Keep your receipt with bar code scan to pass through turnstiles and entrance and...More
Lake Bled and it's surrounds are possibly the most tourist infested part of Slovenia, so you may well be tempted by Vintgar Gorge as a chance to escape the traffic and crowds. Be warned however that it is really steep in terms of expense!
