Take a stroll in Planty Park & especially visit the beautiful sculpture of Stefan Banach and Otto Nikodym sitting on a bench ( near the entrance of the park from Wawel Castle) discussing mathematics. Sculpture by Stefan Dousa. The figures are so lifelike & such...More

The park circles the old town for miles and you can go for walks at any time of the day or night. Myriad sculptures dot the park. It passes by museums and buildings of significance. Fountains and flower arrangements are aplenty too. There are benches...More

This park encircles the old town, and as a great place to stroll, especially in autumn. Seemed like a safe spot for families and kids to escape from the hustle of the city, while still being close to the old town.

Quite a nice park though of no great size and never a million miles from the road. Other than that, it ensconces much of the older part of Krakow as other users have said. Pleasant to walk through with nice fountains, benches and green areas....More

Great place for a leisurely stroll or a scooter ride. Plenty of seating. Lovely trees. Follows the outline of the old city. Great to just sit and people watch. Some interesting finds- Chopin fountain

We walked through here on a few occasions on our way to wawel castle there’s little statues and a piano sculpture in the park. There’s plenty of seating in the shade to get out of the sun.

Best place in Krakow for us. Clean, relaxing, cool (it was 30c when we were there) with a refreshing breeze through the trees. Great for people watching, watching the world go by. Lovely and clean.

Planty Park affords a much needed green space in central Krakow. It was a great way to enjoy some serenity either in or out of the main square. It got so, it was my favorite part of the walk.

hello philandsa, It is very likely that it will be snow and it may be cold, you have to dress on the bulb, so take a warm hat, warm socks, gloves and a scarf. And always be nice to walk and admire this beautiful city
