We went to this park as I read about the view of the Vltava River and bridges. As timing for photography can make or break the shot I went twice as it was worthwhile returning to. We walked from the entrance near Hanansky Pavilion to...More

I'm wondering if we visited the same place as some of the reviews? We climbed up the pathway (not the steps) on advice from a tour guide hoping for a beer garden with atmosphere and fantastic views of Prague. It looked very run down with...More

Very large park that has many trails and paths to explore. Not too wooded and there is quite a climb from the water (via steps). Seems to be run down and not looked after very well. Good for biking to.

as Douglas P said take either tram or bus to the north side or close to the pavilion and you will be ok as the park is flat but from the south side it is a steep walk up from the road.

Probably not, unless it is on your way home from a pub or a dance with significant other and you want to have romantic first look on Prague and Vltava bridges in 2019

Hi - in my honest opinion, I would stay in and around the City, the park is ok, but it has its down sides, graffiti, homeless people, etc! There are plenty of nice places to go instead of here.
