Finding the actual place inside the grounds to buy the tickets was a little confusing. We actually walked by it and around the corner initially. There's a door with several seats and a permanent redish sign on the wall that says 'Klementinum Guided Tours' along...More

This guided tour is a must for astronomy buffs, lovers of libraries, and anyone who wants a fabulous view of the city! The old library is breathtakingly beautiful. We viewed it from the doorway - no one's allowed inside - but it was richly satisfying...More

So I've recently been to Klementinum, and here are some of my thoughts about my visit. The building alone is already amazing! If you're looking for one of the best views in Prague you have come to the right place! But not only is the...More

If you love books or libraries this is a must. My knees shook and threatened to give way. One of the most inspirational, mind blowing, wonderful things I have ever seen. Could've spent the whole day wandering, if they would have allowed.

I’d seen pictures of the library and really wanted to see it in person. Yes it is very beautiful - However you get to view it with a group for 5 minutes from just inside the door. That’s it!

History and beauty! A wonderful place for a history/science geek like my husband. Tour guide was well versed in the history of the building and its occupants. It was a steep climb to the top of the tower, but the panoramic views of the city...More

We took the guided tour, which is the only way to view the Baroque Library Hall, Meridian Hall and the Astronomical Tower, a tiny portion of this vast complex which is now part of the Prague University. It was pricey at CZK 300 per adult...More

Overpriced and you only get to stand in the doorway of the library. I understand the reasoning but for the price, we should have been told what we would see. However you do get to go to the tower and see great views of the...More

Yes, the library is fascinating, but you can’t go in or take any photos after waiting 90 minutes and climbing a lot of stairs. The 2 Baroque libraries at Strahov Monastery are just as fascinating, cheaper and faster to get into, far less stairs and...More

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the
