Waterhole barren as was a dry season visit but a lovely landscape nonetheless. Cool area up against Rock in shade and plenty of Eucalypts. Very busy viewing platform so didn’t stay long. Strongly suggest wear fly head net as insects obviously enjoy the area too.

It must be magical to see this when water is flowing full spate. sadly that wasn't to be buy the enjoyment of the texture, colour and moods of Uluru was great and the interpretative chat most interesting.

TOBY was our guide and he was absolutely wonderful. The short tree lined walk to the waterhole had interesting Aboriginal art work on the rocks. It was right up against the ROCK ULURU and there were so many wonderful formations and caves in and around...More

We rode around the rock so was natural to stop and walk to this waterhole. Fascinating to find water in the desert!

This is a nice place to explore when walking around the base of Uluru. It's easy to get to from the carpark too.

We stopped by on our Segway tour at the end. Pretty cool stories and paintings on the wall. We would recommend when you are in the area.

Definitely worth a visit. The wind feels like it is talking to you here. Stop and look at the aboriginal drawings on the walls on the way in.

This is definitely the easiest walking route at Uluru. Really close to the car park so you aren't out in the heat and flies long. Few historical sites on the path to the waterhole. Fascinating to see how high the water can get as it...More
