Unfortunately the beautiful Spit is now ruined by excessive helicopter noise. All 5 minute joy flights coming from the Sea World area. Numerous helicopters continuously operating above you all day long. The noise they create will drive you nuts.

Whoever completed the refurbishment at the end of the Spit deserve some accolades as this is now a wonderful place to visit. There are organised parks, tables with seating looking over the Broadwater and plenty of room for kids to run about on the open...More

If you go to Australia or to Queensland, don't forget to check out this joint. It's awesome. Loads of fun. I loved the parasailing, bunji jumping and jet skiing. It's an unforgettable experience. Cost is reasonable too. Dr. Aron K Sudath

We drove here from Broadbeach whilst exploring the area. The cafe was great with a huge variety of food and drinks both takeaway and eat in. The sand pump is an interesting and unusual engineering item. Information boards inside the cafe explain the engineering and...More

So much to do here and so many options: a beautiful spot to swim, walking, jogging, dog walking, cycling, SUP. Or just enjoy the sunshine and relative seclusion.

A very popular dog friendly beach. A clean beach for walking, running, sunbathing, swimming or surfing. The beach is very sunny and does not offer much shade. It does however offer, beautiful views all year round.
