I visited this place during our city tour before we went to Lanarch Castle. Interesting place to visit , did not walk up as it was going to rain and we did not want to get wet .

It seems Balwing Street is no longer the steepest street in the world, but honestly it is quite impressive. No need to spend too much time over there. My recommendation is to go there early in the morning to avoid crowd.

You must conquer the steepest street in the world if you are in Dunedin (currently second atm). It was fun. Highly recommend if you have time to spare.

A great place to visit... even though it's difficult to walk up the center of the road...the steps on the RH side make it easier. Good to challenge yourself and say "I did it!"
