What a beautiful place to relax for the day, cafes, shops, and beautiful architecture.

best place around here is the Ponsonby Pool Hall, doesn't have to try, because it is an actual cool place run by cool people. upstairs we have the food hall that regrettably raised it prices back when we had the world cup rugby a few...More
I would move here in a heartbeat if i could, i just love coming here, the surrounding atmosphere is amazing, love the different little cloths shops and eateries, nice friendly area. not the norm like the commercial shopping malls!
We stayed in Auckland / Ponsonby and the area is just great! Lot's of nice restaurants, bars, coffee shops ...
Holiday feeling pure just walking around there. If you don't like Auckland downtown , you will the this area. Peaceful, quite, fantastique!
Try Dizengof in Ponsonby road (think that is correct spelling). Very good selection, be prepared for it to be busy but have a look upstairs as it often has available seating. Delicious food, reasonable prices.
