I organised this tour as a surprise for my wife's 40th, fair to say it was an absolute winner!
We could not fault any aspect of this tour - From the point of being chauffeured to the airstrip to the awesome service offered by Greg...More
Great service from Par Avian, and fantastic lunch with friends at Frogmore Creek. Cerytainly recommend. A word to the folks at Frogmore Creek, they could definitely improve the 'entrance' by greeting the guests arriving by helicopter. We landed and were simply told to make our...More
It’s a great experience. Very accommodating ground staff, great value for money options for flight and helicopter rides as well as excellent pilot (Kayle) who took us around the Hobart city on a 30 minute ride. Booking ahead required and weather permitting activity.
Date of experience: August 2019

We were originally booked on their Southwest experience, and we were really looking forward to that. But bad weather forced them to push the experience back a day, which required us to juggle a few things but wasn't a huge deal. Then we got there...More
The whole experience was fabulous. The flight from Cambridge presents beautiful views of Hobart sunrise and a great experience in itself. In about 50 minutes you reach Strahan and off you go to the Gordon river Cruise. Staff very friendly and efficient. Plenty of food...More
What a day! So wanted to visit the south west wilderness area and this trip does not disappoint in any way. Stunning scenery down the east coast south of Hobart and into Melaleuca. Clouds burnt off just after landing into beautiful sunshine as we boarded...More
After a false start, due to bad weather, my wife and I flew down to Melaleuca for a day trip as part of a group of eight. The company wants you to have an enjoyable experience, so they won't fly if the weather is rough...More

We have a wilderness camp based at Forest Lag, to which I'm thinking you are referring to. Generally we only do a 3 day / 2 night option, but could look at doing a 2 day / 1 night option. This would be a fully catered for trip, including accommodation, ground tours, flights, food/wine etc.
Alternatively as mentioned above, you could book at return bushwalker fare and you take care of yourself, and stay at the bushwalkers huts. Generally there is space available here but still pack a tent just in case all the beds are occupied.
Hopefully we get a chance to take you down to this amazing place, feel free to email us if you have any more questions or would like to make a booking
