Sorry you did not enjoy the day. Unzoo is commited to getting animals back in the wild when they can and have taken away some of their borders so the animals can roam in and out of the park. The number of animals varies day...More
We had a great tour of Hobart. We are in on a Princess cruise and had organized this in advance. Theresa picked us up perfectly on time in a nice Prius. We were going to Port Arthur but road was blocked, for the Breme county...More

For a Park being reliant on funding it is well kept - the animals enclosures are excellent - they all seem very relaxed and it is quite an experience to visit this place. A kiosk is available and the coffee is good. The toilets are...More

Thanks Pearl, you all were so easy to get on with. I really enjoyed our trip together. Thank you very much for your comments. Looking forward to meeting you again the next time you visit. Thanks Philip.
Our guide personlised the tour to suit both our knowledge and our needs - introducing us to key distillery staff who went into the kind of geeky detail that fellow distillers love! Tastings were great and some great stories too about Hobart. Thoroughly worth while.
Just want to update that we did took the tour with Personalised Tasmanian Tour with Philip and Theresa in December 2016, and I highly recommend them. Philip went out all the way to make us comfortable, including searching for the nearest KFC when we felt...More
Unless you have your own car (consider it!), it's hard to get around unless you restrict yourself to Hobart town. (Even then, you need transportation from the airport.)
