I was familiar with one of their wines beforehand (and it's my favorite wine), so I was really looking forward to seeing where the magic happens and tasting more wines. And I was not disappointed! Our tour guide Mari and tasting guide Natya were great!...More

Our group of 11 went on a guided tour through the winery. The firms's wine guide was rather impersonal and her talk given by rote. Winery produces over 40 varieties of wine, many in large quantities by conventional methods in stainless steel tanks, but some...More

Mari and Irakli were the best wine tour guides we experienced in Georgia. They were funny and knowledgeable about wine, grapes, Georgian soil and the history of wine making. Not fancy but a fun vineyard! I’d highly recommend this vineyard tour.

I didn't know about the qveri containers and the history of wine-making in Georgia. It is a good introduction to the process.

Tour around the real wine production site. Told in english, which was a huge plus for us. We saw how the wine is made in Georgian in European style. All was finished with wine tasting and wine shop. Highly recommend it!

After solid and informative tasting session at the winery, we can confirm that most red wine is made from the Saperavi grape. If it’s made in the 4000 litre clay pots or ‘qvevri’ then it’s likely to be a dry red wine. If it’s Saperavi...More

We received a free tour and tasting as we stayed at the associated Chateu Kvareli. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and we enjoyed the experience very much.
