As the others have said, opening times can vary but mornings are a safe bet and there are places outside the castello for lunch. The admission is fee is not a lot and it is well worth getting admission to the gardens as well... More

From Punta Secca (municipality of S.Croce Camerina) follow indications to Ragusa. At 17° km you can see sign-post for the Castle
