Although there were quite a few tourists, we enjoyed the short stop for a tour and some wine tasting. Yes......very touristy but a good way to sample Armenian wines. We enjoyed the red wine the best and ordered bottles of the same wine in a...More

This is a wine factory to accept groups tour. Organized operation and structure of the building. I’m not fond of this kind of facility for tour, not a wine drinker so won’t comment on the taste or price but yet Areni is a heart of...More

We were hosted by an articulate young man who did a good job guiding us through some mostly ordinary but still interesting wines - and a very nice apricot brandy. Our only little complaint was that tasting was a bit too rushed.

This is quite crowded place as this is a stop for many of the tours. The tasting is a quick and done while standing. The red wines were not to my taste, but we bought some of the fruit wines to be served with desserts

We stopped over here for wine tasting. It was a great experience. I ended up buying two of their semi sweet red wine bottles. Wil definitely go back for sure.

what a great way to set off on the winding road to Norvank but to stop for a sip at Areni Winery.... My dream date would be a hike through the woods followed by an outdoor picnic followed by a glass of wine at sunset......More

I only tried their pomegranate and their blueberry wine among their wide selection of products, but I must say they truly taste perfect! I’m no wine-drinker, but the common wines I’ve had pale in comparison to the Areni brand. I hope I can find some...More

This was a nice place, though we did not get to see the wine making, as it was closed for maintenance. We got to taste some of the wines and food was also arranged there for us. We bought some wines from there.
