We hear about people dying in conflict every day around the world. Raw numbers sometimes numb our sense to really understand the magnitude of such tragic events. Coming to the Srebrenica genocide memorial is really shocking as it shows you what really is behind such...More

It’s a long trip from Sarajevo. We took the bus at 7:30 and we came back same day at 16:30. The trip took about 4 hours. It’s not worthy to spend a day in the town of Srebrenica, since it’s very small and it doesn’t...More

This is moving and enriching place to visit. A must for an insight into the war in Bosnia and as a stark reminder of what humanity is capable of and of the dangers of good people standing by. The museum is informing and thought provoking....More

Sometimes it's hard for your brain to get your head around numbers so while 8000 people can seem a lot when you see 8000+ headstones for as far as the eye can see it really hits home to how many people it is. Across the...More

Absolute must see when visiting Bosnia, real eye opener with fascinating museum to visit. There is also a souvenir shop nearby run by one of the mothers of the victims, please support her by making a purchase. An absolute must see in Bosnia.

If you are planning to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina, it would be worthwhile to arrange a visit to Srebenica. This will be the place that will likely leave the most emotional impact on a visitor. As mentioned by other reviewers, this area in Potocari, Sebrenica...More

If you are in Bosnia, please considering going. What happened here in July 1995 is tragic and demands to be remembered. The museum across from the memorial in the old battery factory where the Dutch solidiers stayed is incredibly well done. A mini Holocaust Museum....More

This is something you must see if you visit Bosnia. Great and informative centre, with the perspectives of the widows, the government and the Dutch UN soldiers who were supposed to protect the enclave. It doesn't judge but shows what has happened.
