One of the beautiful and a must visit place in Thailand. It's around 200 km from Phuket and takes about 3-3.5 hours drive. The place has an entry charge and it's TBH 200 per adult when we visited in Oct. It also has a closing...More

The location is a 1 hr drive from Ao Nang, and it is better to travel early to avoid heavy crowd. There are several pools in the park, but the one at the top is the most beautiful one. It is a 30 min uphill...More

The morakot hotel is great for birdwatchers or anyone wanting to visit emerald pool before the crowds, only 500 metres down the road. Great food and lovely people

Was the low season when we went so there was very few tourists. Easy to get some great pictures in the water where it even looked like we had the pool all to ourselves.

Emerald pool is around 1 hour drive from Ao nang, Krabi town. Although the Emerald Pool is crowded, it’s worth taking a dip in the warm water. The edges are very slippery- we’re talking so slippery you can hardly get in or out. So. Be careful. Lots of people in the water and around the pool. Its...More

1. The Emerald Pond is much advertised as a major attraction of Krabi, and rightfully so. It will stir up the curiosity of anyone who visits Krabi. However, it takes 1.5 hours from Ao Nang Beach, where most tourists stay. 2. Unless you are with...More
