This is such an interesting site! It’s a ruin and all open to the air so be sure to go when it’s not raining. The grounds are beautiful and offer great views of the surrounding hills and landscape. We didn’t see the chapel, but if...More

An interesting site to visit with amazing views including Hore Abbey which can also visit. The tour takes about 45 minutes and you can also tour the Chapel separately.

This historic site, once the seat of the High Kings of Munster, can be seen from miles around as you approach Cashel, dominated by the ruins of a Gothic cathedral. When we visited, the AV movie didn’t seem to be running that day, and there...More

This was my second trip here and I loved it just as much as the first. Yes it's ruins but still impressive and the views are outstanding. Be sure to get tickets to see the chapel.

Must see! Stopped here coming from Dublin to Cork, great decision. €8 for general admission with free tour. We went in October so of course it want super busy, wasn’t bumping into people and was able to get good pictures.

It is a very old national monument. About the same as most old castles. No play area, more educational than entertaining.
