It was quite a windy day when we took our walk to the lighthouse and back, but a very enjoyable and bracing walk was had. Would definitely return to this place if visiting the area again.

Spent Saturday evening in Howth. Walked the two piers. Both piers are lovely, the first with the restaurants, coffee shops, fish mongers and fishing vessels. The other pier has nicer views and the fabulous lighthouse structure looking out to sea.

Lovely walk along the East Pier in Howth. Very refreshing and plenty of fresh air. Great place to blow the worries away.

The walk to and the view from the light house is calming. Go on a day with good weather as the views are more stunning.

The lighthouse is out on the end of the pier. It's a pretty walk out to it but you can't go in or anything. It's windy out there, bring a jacket.

Although the lighthouse is nice and quaint it is no great shakes really. However, the reason it's a must do is the lovely walk to it from the town along the pier/harbour wall. It's a real favourite with locals and there's always a good buzz...More

If I were a ship I'd rather crash than visit this place. The seagulls were rude and my food arrived cold. I told the waitress and she knocked 10% off my bill but the show has already started so I missed part of the overture.
