This is lower Ragusa. The old town rebuilt after earthquake 16th century. Very charming and beautiful. Not too touristy.

This place is a gem, so much character and very nice place to walk around the quaint little street. It was very quiet when we visited.

What a stunningly beautiful place. Full of history and friendly people. Cobbled streets and beautiful old buildings. The streets are VERY narrow, we’re in a larger car as there were 4 of us with luggage. It was a difficult drive, but we made it I’ve...More

This lovely town is so beautiful with it's Baroque cathedral, you can imagine Inspector Montalbano crossing the square. The little road train is cheap and worth taking to get an overview of the place.

We spent three days in Ragusa Ibla in August and really enjoyed the area. It is a very clean village and the people are great.

Fantastic old Baroque town, plenty of great restaurants, beautiful house and churches as if stacked on top of each other. The views are amazing, friendly locals. We stayed at the hotel Intervallo, which was brilliant and central to everything, fantastic hostess, so helpful.

Came here go try and see Montalbano restaurant they used but we became lost as there are 2 parts to this huge place. So many tiny roads to go down and one way system completely tricked us so we gave up!
