Already the road there is spectacular. Due to its remoteness there are also not many tourists visiting this place. So it is a real jewel of peace and greenery in a rocky desert.

This is number 4 on the list at the time of writing, so we made an effort get there driving up the wadi from Dibab, having visited the Bimmah sinkhole. We really enjoyed the drive up the wadi, with great views. We did it with a...More

You spend a couple of hours on motorways and then for the last couple of miles go off road along tracks until you get to the wadi. It is pretty due to the contrast with the Rocky and pretty arid landscape but is it worth...More

It's one of my favorite wadi's that you can visit, not only in Muscat but probably it's one of the most beautiful ones in Oman. There are many reasons for that, it's easy to reach , you can have nice off-roading experience (depending on which...More

The trip to this Wadi is exhilarating. The roads are steep and have no safety guardrails. there's long patch where you have to drive off-road so a 4x4 is a must. The water is cool for the summer heat. Good place to picnic. Since there's...More

This excursion is not for young families or the faint-hearted, for the journey to the exact location, certainly for the last 20 km you will need a vehicle with 4x4 capability, there are virtually zero public resources, services or F&B vendors, the only facilities are...More

This is a site not to be missed. The view along the route is breathtaking. There are multiple spots where you can settle and relax and enjoy the serene sound of water flowing. 4x4 is highly recommended if you want to explore deeper.

Yes you can. If you know how to drive in manual mode. Only one place will crucial while coming back. If you have any company with 4W car and pulling belt, it’s better. When I went, I saw a Toyota Corolla.

sorry for the late reply. to my knowledge it is best that you rent a 4X4 and use google maps to get there. tour operators just want a quick buck and are unwilling to take just a few people to this location.
