The massive grounds are bigger than the town where I live. The palace is beautiful, over the top luxurious, and significant in the Hapsburg history and the history of Austria. Spend a couple hours at least and take the little trolley around. We had good...More

Definitely the highlight of visit in Vienna. An amazing building with so much to see. It is almost like a city inside the city.

We were visiting friends in Vienna so we were doing a combination of taking in local sights and visiting. This place was perfect, lots of space to walk and many interesting fountains etc. to look at.

Amazing excess but fun to visit. I’d done a lots of reading about the history of the area and it’s nice to have this memory now to tie it together.

Went on a guided tour while on a river cruise down the Danube and of all the places we visited this was by far the best. We were here for 4 hours but could have spent the whole day and still not seen everything on...More

Grand tour: seriously poorly organised - especially as they time your entry. Far too much queueing with folk wandering aimlessly. The palace itself is amazing - the architecture, the art and the history is well worth the chaos to get in. Some of the stories...More

Historical place. Tourists should visit once. Did not attract much. Not Value for money in compared to the ticket charged.

This is just a breathtaking building. It's marvellous and has a astounding history to support it. It's highly recommended. Quick tip: Try to visit in odd or early hours to skip huge queues of tourists.
