Spectacular scenery on the road from Polis to the monastery. Take the Cedar Valley route and you can take a walk in the forest. The roads are fine and traffic very light. The Monastary is a modern version but the Main Church is a spectacular...More

It may not be the most atmospheric but it's the grandest and richest of Cyprus' Orthodox monasteries. In addition, there's a museum displaying various Church paraphernalia. If your are travelling in Troodos mountains it's must see. If you are not interested in Orthodoxy (and montains)...More

Without the time needed to travel to this Monastery it is a must see, with the journey included it is still a must see. Exquisite and well kept, unlike many of Cyprus' ancient buildings this place is well looked after.
