Beautiful ex Cathedraland, being a mosque, rather empty! Still worth it in conjunction with Famagusta tour

In the middle of Famagusta walled city ... you can not missed it. The facade architecture is amazing but unfortunately needs renovation.

It is not a mosque. It was originally was a church but converted to a mosque by ottomans just adding a minaret. Northern Cyprus government still let people use it as a mosque which is a shame. Gorgeous architecture.

A cathedral into a mosque is not the best choice seen from my point of view - no atmosphere and spirit in the room and waste of time to visit seen from my point of wiew.
