I would say that a visit to the Palace is a must. Here you can see various paintings about the Great Siege of Malta and the Knights, It also houses the Armour with its rich artifacts that once belomg to the Knights of St. John.

Very disappointed that the room with the tapestries was so dark you can't see anything!!! Most of the palace under refurbishment. Buy the book about the place and tapestries instead and skip the place! Go to the Archeology museum right down the street instead. Malta...More

A lovely building, however there was a lot of renovation work taking place so there wasn’t a lot we were able to see on our visit. Will be stunning when all renovations are completed am sure. The armoury was open to view, and was very...More

This was less than expected,....was worth a few minutes of my time, but would not suggest it as a must see location.

Not much to see really, only a few rooms dedicated to the reception of foreign visitors by the President, state is not so good either.

Still worth a visit although some areas are undergoing much needed restoration. The Armoury is interesting but the State Rooms are magnificent.

Really good way to get the history of the island. You get to go around on your own with an audio device with excellent commentary. Definitely worth a visit.

The building itself is undergoing a major refurbishment and will look amazing once finished. The State Rooms were interesting to visit and the audio guide was helpful - but there wasn’t much to hold your attention.

We expected more of this palace having seen many others. For instance, it wasn’t a patch on the one in Stockholm which we visited earlier in the year. There were just a few rooms to visit and they weren’t that interesting or attractive. The armoury...More

You buy them next door in the armoury. The ticket admits you to both.
