I loved the arcade of mosaics out front of the Basilica. Stories from Christ that were well laid out and artistic. Inside was the usual overwhelming designs of pretty much all churches and basilicas I saw in Gozo and Malta. Inside there was a display...More

Stunning building and easily accessed by car or bus. We attended the Sunday Mass. The singing of the congregation was beautiful. The Shrine was a special place to visit with lots of information about its history.

The architecture is amazing and the history behind it is extensive. Inside is just as beautiful as outside where it stands proud and can be seen from far away.

A visit to the church of miracles is well worth it. The interior stone work is fantastic in its intricacy. It is such a lovely peaceful place with calming air about it. Well worth a visit.

Anyways this is a real believers place with more or less a shrine of parishioners offerings letters etc out the back. Like a lot of cathedrals churches etc this one is much more ornate inside than out.

The only Mass in English at Ta' Pinu is at 30pm on Fridays. There are English Masses at the Seminary in Victoria at 10am on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Also at Nadur (Our Lady of Carmel) on Sunday at 1015am.
