Saw the outside of the uninteresting building. Apparantly it local caused local controversey in the planning stage because it is in a lovely location and it is, for my eyes, a boring building

A city hall in an exquisite location, on a lake, with wide open community spaces. Not of interest perhaps, for the average tourist but a wonderful example of thoughtful planning an multiuse space. Good place to stop for a coffee if you are there, and...More

We walked here from HARPA It is located in a beautiful scenery. You can sit on a bench and enjoy the view of the lake and the northern breeze.

There's 3D topological map of Iceland downstairs that is worth seeing. Free wifi & toilet. Nice area to walk around or sit.

This map took several years to complete. It is a huge 3D topological map of Iceland inside the building and it is amazing. Also a good place to find a WC (toilet) on your explorations around town.

Very accessible. really just 1 floor no obstacles. As I remember they are open from morning to evening kinda of a 8-8 thing. Very tourist oriented and informative. Completely unintimidating.
