Historic and emblematic of the catholic centered city of the past. The cathedral is very well preserved but you will need to schedule you visit to coincide with their 2 hour lunch. Not to worry, there are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby.

This is a nice cathedral. To me the most impressive was the organ area. It was very ornate - wish I could have heard them playing.

I was there on a Sunday morning and remember seeing crowds leaving the church. I believe it was for 10am Mass.

If Mass (or other service, such as a Baptism or Marriage) is underway, photography is prohibited until the priest has finished. This is common for all churches in Portugal and Spain.
