In our view, this was the best miradouro. Reachable by tram 28 and then a short walk, this is not the most touristy place but there is an old cathedral from whose courtyard you really see all of old Lisbon and the Tagus bride. Unforgettable.

I go there frequently, mainly during the week. A place where you can have a very nice overview of Lisbon.

It's a little out of the main town, but has an amazing view, a great cocktail van and excellent musicians. Well worth a trip up the hill for.

When we arrived in Lisbon, we decided to take a tuk-tuk tour. While we saw many sites, this was by far the best vantage point to see the entire city of Lisbon. It is a must do place to visit when in Lisbon.

Lisbon has many wonderful viewpoints, and this is one of them. To avoid walking up the hill, we took a taxi from our hotel in Chiado. After enjoying the stunning sights of Lisbon, we took a walk towards the river (mostly descending) in the charming...More

One of the many spots to oversee the city, but still great. A good point to have a look over the center.

A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site,
Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply
"Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake

earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its

The pavement to get there is made of cobblestones, which isn't the ideal for a baby carrier but it is possible. Has suggested before, you can take a cab there but part of the pleasure is to relax and see the view after the... More

The road to this miradouro in particular is very steep and has calçada portuguesa covering all the floor. Taxis and tuk-tuks are cheap. Might be a good option. Most tuk-tuk tours will cover this miradouro! Enjoy! Any... More

It's not that far from the P&O Ferry dock. When walking, it's about an 30-45 minutes walk. Otherwise take a tourist ticket for Tram 28.
