There are many places in Lisbon where you can find a nice view but at the castle is by far the most impressive. The castle itself is nice. Lovely by sunset and really soothing.

Plan to visit when you are in Lisbon. Ask local folks how to use Metro and Store elevators to make the trip up an adventure and interesting. Plan to spend at least two hours.

It was wonderful that we received a pamphlet when purchasing our ticket. We would have had to wait 3 hours until the next English speaking tour, so we went on our own.
