We read about here and all the different food choices. It was busy and very hot. We weren't all that impressed. Would have rather went somewhere else. Wasn't worth all the hype.

The ideal spot for a relaxed meal, snack or simply a drink with friends or colleagues. Around 20 street food vendors serving up everything from wood-fired pizzas to Vietnamese summer rolls, Indian butter chicken and Greek meze to artisanal burgers. The main action is centered...More

Excited to try this after many reviews and one personal suggestion. To say I was underwhelmed is actually the case. We tried several different things, the chorizo sandwich salty and chorizo was minimal. Pork buns more bun then pork, tapas sampler soggy and salty. Needless...More

A must see in Amsterdam West. De Hallen is a former garage for trams and has been changed into public space with cinema (9 rooms!), library, art shops, offices and a big food hall, which is a little overrated. The atmosphere is cosy, historic and...More

Great place to spend a few hours for lunch or dinner. They have a wide variety of restaurants and cuisines to choose from. The hall is spacious, bright, and very vibrant. I highly recommend this for solo or group travelers.

A converted tram shed, the De Hallen is a great place to go for lunch or just browse. Lots of stalls, selling all sorts of good food and drinks. You might have to wait for a table but it's a fun place to visit

I confess I didn't pay specific attention to this, but there was at least one vegetarian stall that seemed to be focused on healthy options, and there were definitely bunless burger options on some of the menus. If you... More
