We bought a ticket to this attraction for less alongside a canal boat tour. We didn't know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. It was informative and gives you a great insight into how the red light district actually operates in Amsterdam. There's an...More

The person I was with heard that this was one of the better museums so we went in. It's a previously used brothel that has been kept as is mostly. You get an audio box that uses NFC technology and explains things when you tap...More

We visited here, mainly just to see what it was like and also understand a bit more about the business and what it was like. It's quite a small building, starting off with a small video about prostitution , before you visit some rooms including...More

Everything you wonder about the red light district you will learn in this museum! How the work goes and routines. Everything about the prostitutes. A really good museum! A little tiny, tiny corridors but its representing a original brothel so it didnt bother.. Really interesting!...More

Nice rooms with infos on prostitution. The confession wall is funny and you can even leave your confession too ! They offer a little booklet that answers a lot of questions you could have on this type of work !

Please do not waste your money going here . This was 30 euro for 2 of us. There were about 4 rooms in total with some small old items of lingerie and a few mannequins. This was nothing like advertised or expected. Real let down.

The museum was very enlightening. It was done in a way that anyone will understand. It was amazing to hear how the "working" ladies were treated and how Amsterdam protects them.

Tatty Tacky and so yesterday. Lacked any sort of style or imagination for the new millennium . Too non descriptive an area full of drunks and lurid louts. To be fair, the whole area was being renovated, or maybe it had just been bombed !

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring

No but if you buy online in advance you can get a ticket for €10 rather than €14 at the door. You can also get a group discount. Its pretty good, not for prudes though :)
