A very simple but beautiful old church. Free entry and worth hiking up to visit. We really enjoyed the simplicity of the architecture. Free entry
The current Gothic-style Cathedral stands on the site of a previous Romanesque building prior to the year 1000.The building is flanked by a robust medieval bell tower. Is a medieval cathedral, good to see it.
Although at the top of the hill there are lifts which help you to get 90% of the way there. Once in the church is an interesting place. Views outside are great, and inside the age and reverance are obvious.

Austere, gothic church, with huge arches inside, out of the ordinary in Italy. It's just north of the historical centre, reachable on foot in a few minutes or by the free public lifts.
