The current Gothic-style Cathedral stands on the site of a previous Romanesque building prior to the year 1000.The building is flanked by a robust medieval bell tower. Is a medieval cathedral, good to see it.
Although at the top of the hill there are lifts which help you to get 90% of the way there. Once in the church is an interesting place. Views outside are great, and inside the age and reverance are obvious.
