My wife and I sat at, met at, and walked through this piazza often. We stayed in Venice for four days. We found the traffic in the piazza overwhelming, depending upon the time of day.

Since our bus started and arrived from that piazza, we visited it quite often. Besides the bus terminus, there is the Museo di San Marco, a fantastic museum and church, and also the Monument of General Manfredo Fanti, a great soldier, who fought for the...More

Anyone who has visited Piazza San Marco in Venice will know what I mean. Actually I don't recall seeing pigeons at this one at all, and we were at the square at least four times because we used number 14 bus which starts/ends here. There...More

This piazza does not have a lot of historical buildings but it’s a nice small piazza that is not overly busy and you can sit for awhile and catch your breath before you head off exploring again.

We sat on a bench and watched the world go by as we enjoyed a beverage from a nearby market. It’s a very busy place, since it is a main transfer point for city buses. There isn't much to see really, though it's a nice,...More

This is one of the smaller piazzas in Florence but it is very beautiful . It is anchored by the Basilica di San Marco and it's activity level is vibrant. It is not the biggest or the best but it is beautiful none the less.

The small square in front of the Basilica di San Marco is one of the usual meeting points for groups of tourists, which often makes it very crowded. The square is not big, and, beside the basilica and the museum, there is not much to...More

One of the historic piazzas with the stone faced San Marco church as its main feature this square needs some money spent on it to make it more of a jewel

This square is very small. There is a beautiful statue in its center, some pew benches and only this! What I thought strange is the fact that there weren't trees in this square. Because of that, it doesn't attracts me.

Would not recommend this piazza to visit. It was a meeting forums for a lot of tours and lots of cars driving around. Nothing special and plenty of other places to visit
