This lovely park offers spectacular views of the seacoast and Etna. There are 3 or 4 other public viewpoints that deserve your time. Visit them all. Isn't this why you are in Taormina -- to enjoy the fantastic views.

While having a day in Taormina we visited these gardens. Nice gardens with great views of the bay. Rather small and plants not that interesting, but a good area to sit and recover and see a few unusual exhibits.

From the Corso Umberto take the alley going downhill to the Naumarche. Follow this street downhill (Via Fratelli Bandiera) this turns into via Bagnoli Croci. Continue downhill and it is on your right. There is an entrance at the lookout on Via Roma.

I agree with all other posts. It your mum can manage the walk to the gardens and back then I am sure she will really enjoy these lovely gardens. Plenty of shade, plenty of seats. Really hope you get to see them
