My girlfriend and I along with our baby visited the garden many times during our 9 day stay in the town. It's a very beautiful place but never really crowded.

This lovely park offers spectacular views of the seacoast and Etna. There are 3 or 4 other public viewpoints that deserve your time. Visit them all. Isn't this why you are in Taormina -- to enjoy the fantastic views.

When I travel I try to visit a botanical garden to see what new and exciting plant life may exist and with the hope to find some seed pods or fallen fruit to try to grow when I get home. Villa Comunale was quite, nobody...More

The gardens are very beautiful with fantastic views but best of all they are a quiet spot in a very touristy centre. Make sure you read the romantic history of the gardens too.

Sadly this garden has seen better days and is now in need of some TLC. Still worth a visit as its great for the views from its terraces.

Don’t expect too much space or maintenance. Yet the place is a little quiet oasis in all the Taormina bustle, its free, offers some nice views and is close to the Greek theatre and Main Street.

While having a day in Taormina we visited these gardens. Nice gardens with great views of the bay. Rather small and plants not that interesting, but a good area to sit and recover and see a few unusual exhibits.

This was a great place to walk around, enjoy the view and get away from the crowds. The gardens are well Maintained.

A little green oasis in the middle of a very busy town. Well worth a wander round the shady paths looking at all the strange follies that are there.

I agree with all other posts. It your mum can manage the walk to the gardens and back then I am sure she will really enjoy these lovely gardens. Plenty of shade, plenty of seats. Really hope you get to see them

not much, you can walk quite fast through, in 15 - 20minutes, or relax even for hours inside.
