This campo located at the east approach of the Rialto Bridge is home to the eponymous church and a large monument to Carlo Goldoni. As with most campo’s it is also home to bars, restaurants and shops. It is a very busy campo.

Nice and warm square just 100 meters by walk to Rialto's bridge. Its location is probably what makes this square particularly busy and always crowded. That doesn't mean that you can't sit down, eat your meal and taste the beautiful atmosphere of this place.

This is a lively square in the middle of the tourist trap between the Rialto bridge and St Mark’s Square. Quite a few tours leave from here so it is a good navigational point to learn. Just remember our local guide told us - if...More

Campo San Bortolmeo is considered the socio-commercial heart of the city of Venice, and in the middle is the monument to Carlo Goldoni. This is a very busy Campo as only a short distance from the Rialto.
