Assuming you get tickets the system to view "The Last Supper" is great. You feel a little herded but you do get some time with the artwork.

The high light of visiting Santa Maria delle Grazie is the fresco of the Last Supper by Leonardo Da Vinci in the refectory of the Convent. It's an overwhelming experience of getting 'up and close' to this late 15th-century mural painting. The tour guide did...More

The interior of the basilica is quite peaceful without over decoration but beautiful. Free entrance but no photo taking is allowed. Just next to the basilica, there is a masterpiece “Cenacolo” by Di Vinci. If you plan to buy the day’s ticket without prior reservation,...More

The church is externally impressive but was not open to the public when we visited. We had, however, booked a visit to see the Last Supper housed next to it and that was more than worth the money. An oustanding experience and it was even...More

The viewing of The Last Supper is 15 minutes with a guide. We were lucky to get 6:15 p.m. tickets for the day of our visit but this is unusual as bookings go quickly. Go first thing in morning 8 or 8:30.
