A marvellous huge round square, flanked with a beautiful column palisade, crowned with an impressive array of sainted statues. A wonderful place. Can get a touch busy.

Depending on the time of day, this can be a busy and crowded place. However it is a must see. It is possible to sit and watch people after visiting the Sistine Chapel, the Vatican Museums and the Basilica.

The square is very busy so look after your bags and kids. It is beautiful and I really think it’s a must to see it It is quieter in the early mornings and late afternoon (6:30pm when everything is shut).

A must visit site! On a hot day, it gets quite hot. Many people were on the queue for other destinations. The square is very pretty and nice to walk around.

Because my husband proposed to me here, St Peters square will always hold a dear spot in my heart. The columns are magnificent- once in the Vatican the experience is almost overwhelming

The sheer size of the square, the statues and the buildings surrounding it is impressive. This enormous square can make a positive impression. You are right outside the Vatican. This is an impressive place. The square is located in front of the basilica. The place is holy.

Yes strictly adhered to the dress code: Men and ladies to wear close shoes, flip flops not allowed and is a show of disrespect. Long pants and or dress for the ladies. Shoulders must be covered. Some places no hats allowed.

I suggest you go to the web site. It's pretty good and you can book on line. Admission to the square is easy and free.. Everything else should be booked in advance for whatever you require.
