Depending on the time of day, this can be a busy and crowded place. However it is a must see. It is possible to sit and watch people after visiting the Sistine Chapel, the Vatican Museums and the Basilica.
The square is very busy so look after your bags and kids. It is beautiful and I really think it’s a must to see it
It is quieter in the early mornings and late afternoon (6:30pm when everything is shut).

Men and ladies to wear close shoes, flip flops not allowed and is a show of disrespect. Long pants and or dress for the ladies. Shoulders must be covered. Some places no hats allowed.
