This is a popular market in the heart of Trastevere. You can buy local produce, vinegar, oil, and souvenir items, in addition to beautiful flowers. We discovered it as part of a walking tour we found online.

Fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, ham, salami and much more. Super nice to visit on a nice day, having a cup off coffee in the cafe just around the corner.

Lovely little piazza in Trastevere, home to a small market (a few permanent stalls selling meat, fish, etc. and temporary stalls with fruit and vegetables), a magnificent old tree, and a terrific playground. The playground has several climbing forts with slides and other things to...More

The market here is great and better than Campo di fiori as its not so crowded - seems more residential with families and kids playing. Also a Great spot during summers for the outdoor movies.

The piazza has a great fenced playground with lots of toys and even books. Also nice shady benches for the adults. A great stop and our child didn’t want to leave.

As part of the piazza is a playground which many local children were playing at. Our 2yo son loved playing in the park on the slides, rides and toys that people had donated. It's a great facility for families staying in the area (which I'd...More

The square is well known for its food outdoor market, with lot of seasonal fruits and vegetables. It is a colorful and lively place, a true heart of the friendly neighborhood of Trastevere!

I took a walk early in the morning at Trastevere & found the San Cosimato Market which is a market for the locals. The products are very good & fresh & the people are very nice. This is the true true Rome.

Multi-use piazza.... kids playgrounds, kiosks and market shops (vegetables, meat...fish) Always crowded and lovely. Most important it is away from the touristic Rome.

charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
