Great view of the city and Vesuvius. Strongly recommend. Free entrance, but there are no many things to do there. Definitely go for the view.

Free enter. Nice views on several points, like stunnig Capri, misterious Vesuvio and amazing Napoli.

Amazing that this very old - almost 1000 years - castle sits right at the edge of Naples seaside. Was able to walkthrough leisurely. I dont think there was fee (at least I didn't pay).

As the title suggests, it’s a corker of a building, commanding great views into and out of Napoli. However, that’s it. No actual walk around inside the great walls and many rooms you can envisage being there. Free to enter though, and that’s a bonus.

Entering the Castel is a nice thing to do with kids; views are nice, but maybe even better, the surrounding is kid friendly with not that much cars; a nice place to escape the crowded city life

The outside of the castle is very impressive, there are quite a few spots you can get a full view of the castle itself. There are a couple cranes close by so the photos are slightly ruined. We didn’t go inside due to recommendations from...More

Very nice old fortress defending the coastline. Was clean, an easy walk thru, on the beautiful coastline in a very clean safe district to just stroll and enjoy the weather, Great views of the coast, no real crowd. A very nice stop

There are some excellent views across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius from here including the quaint Borgo Marinari. There is also a short description of the history of the site for those who are interested. Entry is free. I particularly liked the “tame” seagull...More

Well worth the effort of climbing the stairs (not too many) and entry fee of €5 for adults just to see the spectacular Naples coast - then you can wander around and explore the castle. Lovely way to introduce yourself to the city of Napoli.

Nice free castle. Not much too see except great views of Capri, Vesuvius and Naples. Several viewpoints. Must be able to walk uphill a bit to get to the look-out points.
