As the title suggests, it’s a corker of a building, commanding great views into and out of Napoli.
However, that’s it. No actual walk around inside the great walls and many rooms you can envisage being there.
Free to enter though, and that’s a bonus.
The outside of the castle is very impressive, there are quite a few spots you can get a full view of the castle itself. There are a couple cranes close by so the photos are slightly ruined.

Very nice old fortress defending the coastline. Was clean, an easy walk thru, on the beautiful coastline in a very clean safe district to just stroll and enjoy the weather, Great views of the coast, no real crowd. A very nice stop

Well worth the effort of climbing the stairs (not too many) and entry fee of €5 for adults just to see the spectacular Naples coast - then you can wander around and explore the castle. Lovely way to introduce yourself to the city of Napoli.
