We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this historic site. You have an option of taking an elevator to the top or you can make the climb. The views from the top are spectacular and we enjoyed the peacocks that were strutting around. We also found...More

Worth a visit if only for the views and the panoramic lift which takes you there. Quite small inside but great to walk around.

Take the Panoramic Lift from the street up to this edifice above the port of Cartagena - otherwise it'll be a long hot climb! The medieval castle, with its' many peacocks, is impressive and there are a lot of historic costumes and many other interesting...More

We were on a cruise tour, and stopped at the port but I had been doing a lot of sightseeing and was tired. It was a very hot and humid day. I couldn't keep up with the tour guide and I had to stop 3/4...More

After walking around the whole area we arrived at the top to the castle, we were happy to pay the entrance fee and they provided a variety of information for you to read and the views were great.
