Large train station currently having work down. Good choice of places to eat and drink. Clean, tidy and very central. Car hire quick and efficient, 5 minutes walk or shuttle car to pick up car. Hire desks in main station

I was very surprised by the size of the Atocha train station. It had many levels and it was interesting to watch people coming and going. The main center hall was filled with palm and other tropical trees, very pretty.

Very nice train station. We caught the fast train to Barcelona here. Several dining options, a nice green courtyard area and very punctual/well ran train system.

The train station itself was well set out and reasonable with the passengers comfort. The train was very comfortable and quiet. It was so good that even though the was going for 30m it felt like 2 or 3m.

Sorry for the delay, just so the message, I stayed about one mile away. Many places to stay around the area. The station is not complicated.
