Went to a conference and trade show today here, gorgeous Art Deco building and really well maintained. Dead centre in Madrid and a lovely place indeed to have spent the day.

Visited at 5pm on October and thete were no queues for the lift and cost has now increased to €5. Pint €7. Coffee €3. Views are great with a panorama around the whole city although most points are East facing. Well worth a visit. Great...More

We visited this place to go to the rooftop. I would advise to arrive early and you will avoid the queue. You will have to pay a fee to get to the top but it is well worth it. Very nice views from the top,...More

Bear in mind you may have to queue to get in. We wanted to visit before sun set. We had to queue for about 20 mins. Then you buy your tickets and get into the slightly 'bouncy' lift (you'll understand if you've been in it)...More

If you mean footwear, it's probably ok. (In Ireland thongs are underwear...!) It's a very cool vibe and madrileños are quite chic so maybe dress up a bit for it. Sometimes it's worth it!
