Central meeting point for visitors to Toledo and with one or two points of fine architectural value but now defaced by the dominant presence of Burget King and McDs.

After wading through the throngs of tourists (which we, uh, were part of) in many of the plazas of Madrid and Barcelona, this one was a nice change. Not as crowded and more low-key. Not much of a need to worry about getting pick-pocketed, either....More

Great place to stop and take a breath while sightseeing in the historic town centre and its periphery. Be sure to frequent one of the many little cafes that dot the plaza and enjoy their great coffee and fresh orange juice. The plaza is also...More

We entered the old city via the Puerta de Bisagra and made slow progress because there is so much to see, like the gate, towers, church and train station. We wanted the hop-on/off bus and several passed by us without stopping because they start at...More

This plaza has several restaurants, good access, although crowded and noisy. It is a good place to visit, staying for a limited period.

Plaza De Zocodover is the main plaza of Toledo and one of it's major landmarks. Given it's prominence, I was expecting something on the scale of Plaza D'Espanya in Madrid or Plaza de Catalunya in Barcelona, but not really. It's a large public square, but...More

Great place to start of your travels in Toledo. It is busying with life all through the day. There is benches to sit on, restaurants to eat at, sweet shops to get something small and shops with assorted clothes and shoes.

The most charming plaza where everyone gathers to eat, rest, talk and meet-up that has several pastelerías to choose from. It's hard to get a bad pastry or scoop of gelato anywhere within a square mile of this place.

Toledo streets are really easy to get lost for the first time traveller 😁 Thanks to this organised central meeting point kind of place there is hope for all with no to little sense of direction. There are many cafes and fast food restaurants, tapas...More
