This is place is undoubtedly famous for the metropol parasol. I believe this means mushroom. It is an interesting structure, you can also go to the top and enjoy a nice view of the city.

Plaza Mayor was not much of the square although it was bustling with bars, restaurants and markets when we visited. What made it stand out was the wooden mushroom type structure along it. You can walk along the top of it.

At night and day it is beautiful to see the wooden art here at the Plaza Mayor. It is a beautiful place to rest for a moment.

Very different to other squares in Seville, this square houses the modern metropol parasol. Worth visiting to go to the top of the metropol parasol for great views of the city.
