When the concierge at my hotel told me about “The Mushrooms”, I was curious about what I would find. The impressive modern architecture of this viewpoint plaza really stands out among the ancient buildings and churches that surround it. It’s worth a short visit just...More

This is the largest wooden structure in the world but really splits opinion as it doesn't blend in to its surroundings as a great building should. The views from the top are great, though, as Seville is very flat.

After a short queue of about 10mins we went in the lift for about 3euros. The views in all directions are amazing with good information signs. There is a bar and restaurant there too. Really enjoyed our visit. Nice paths to follow around the top

This construction was meant to be build in concrete and glass, but that turned out to be impossible so they turned to wood. Very beautiful. You can go up and look out over the city

A strange looking construction made entirely of wood. A modern piece of art between the centuries old buildings. Under the construction is a food market situated.

We arrived and unfortunately the line ups were extremely long so we were not able to go up to the top, worthwhile to visit the landmark though.

Very clever modern structure in the middle of the old town. Worth a visit during the day for the fantastic views of the city. Good to see at night all lit up and the skateboarders making use of the area below.

Unbelievable that it is made of wood. A good place to be and meet people. We did not go upstairs due to the long lines but just looking at it is stunning.

There are not long waiting lines at Metropol Parasol. I didn't find something special to eat near it.
