Classic Palace at the park with a lovely walk between Sanssouci and Neues. It just grows through the trees as you approach. Good commentary - about 45 min. Between the 2 palaces there is a windmill to stop by with a good display - covered...More
Most people come to Sanssouci Park to see Sanssouci Palace. Do not skip this as it it gorgeous in its own right. Just make sure you don’t come on a Tuesday and remember Sanssouci Palace is not open on. Monday.
There is a lot of walking here, Or at least we did a lot of walking! The architecture of the building was spectacular we pretty much circled the building and then walked for about an hour and a half around the Gardens there is tons...More
Outside, the palace looks monumental and pretty. I am not a special lover of this style, but I openly admit that he is beautiful.
However, the positive impression for me ends here, as I did not get inside:

While a visit to Potsdam would not be complete without visiting Sanssouci, this place can't be ignored.

Inside it's just astounding.
I don't wish to take anything away from your visit, but, this is one of...More

When you buy your ticket they will give you a timed ticket for the Sanssouci palace. This will determine where you go. For us our ticket was for a little bit later so the ticket person advised us that we had plenty of time to go to the Neuse palace before walking down to the Sanssouci palace for our timed entrance. I would definitely listen to the ticket person they gave us perfect advice on how much time everything would take. Enjoy!!
