This is where the Brandenburg Gate is. It is a tourist area and has many horse and carts for hire. The ground seems to be paved rather than cement or bitumen and a hive of activity. They have a Berlin Tourist office here but it...More

An uninteresting plaza which you only walk through because it had Brandenburg Gate at one end. Otherwise lots of office buildings and crowds.

This is the main square in Berlin with the Brandenburg gate at one end. It can’t be missed but is pretty touristy. Most of the free walking tours start here too.

Strolling down to the Brandenburg Gate, we happened to arrive at the time of the Great 25K distance race. Great atmosphere, runners, supporters and a Samba Band. The perfect time to be in the Platz.

This is the busy square leading to/from Brandenburg Gate. It is a great place for photography and there are lots of tourists here. The famous Adlon Hotel is near by and not to be missed.
