It was closed, but it is near a lot of great museums! If your in the area go see one of the other nearby museums! The NS Dokumentationszentrum is next door and it documents the how, why, and when of Hitler’s rise to power in...More

Celú budovu obehnete celkom rýchlo, má však svoju atmosféru, obzvlášť kaviareň. Odporúčam využiť nedeľný vstup za 1€. The tour doesn't take long, but this building definitely has a nice vibe to it, especially the café. I recommend €1 entry on Sundays. Der Rundgang dauernt nicht...More

I had really wanted to stop at this museum while we were walking the museum quarter. However, it is closed for renovations. The worst part is you don't even get the see the building.

The museum is closed until next year so be prepared. There are other wonderful museums nearby we went to the Old Pinakothek to see the old masters and we really enjoyed it.

A great way to spend a few hours is a trip to this beautiful underground museum near the University. Extensive collection, nicely displayed in multilingual exhibits.

As others have mentioned already, the Glyptothek is current closed for renovations and will not be open again until 2021. I just wish the website mentioned it. Had it not been for the Propylaea and the Staatliche Antikensammlungen museum opposite Glyptothek, the day would've been...More

Must see for any art enthusiast. The architecture is wonderful and it gets even better when you are inside. Please visit its well worth spending a few hours there.

Yes, it's 'temporarily closed' as it says on here. But don't go thinking that you'll be able to at least take any photos of the outside, like I did. It's all covered up by construction netting so you can't see the building itself.

The Glyptothek is undergoing renovations and not just the interior, but the exterior as well. I expected at least to see the facade in tact with the columned portico in order to get the original effect of these Greek inspired buildings in Konigsplatz. Right now...More

This museum is not the largest but is well layed out and presented to the public. There are a lot of busts and the majority of sculptures are from Greece. If you have a hour to spare and like Greek sculpture, definitely go. Your ticket...More

As usual in most museums, they discourage flash and if you're taking pics of anything you shouldn't be, there will be somebody there to remind you. We had no problem taking all the pics we wanted.
