We had a great experience! The place is in such good shape and organized. The audioguide was so well done. Very nice to walk around the old construction listening the history at the same time.

Hubby and I visited the Theatre Antique whilst staying in Orange overnight travelling through France to Spain on holiday. We were very lucky to have a superb clear blue sky day when visiting but it was very windy. So much information and so much to...More

What an amazing site to see. Even though we did not go inside to walk around, you could see from street. It's awesome they're taking steps to preserve such an awesome structure. I'm very glad we walked around Orange and stumbled across this. Across the...More

We almost skipped this visit during our 7 days in Nimes because the city of Orange does not offer the charm of Uzes, Avignon or Aigues-Mortes. It turned out to be one of the best Roman sites we saw, mainly because the "virtual tour" and...More

I am not the biggest history buff; but this place is marvelous! It was built into the hillside over 2000 years ago by the Romans and is an architectural masterpiece. It obviously has damage due to weather over the years, but it is still awe...More

I loved this theatre. It is the best-preserved in the Western world and the only one I have seen that is in such wonderful condition. I know the seating has been restored but there is still so much that is original. The audio guide is...More

Rent a car, it'll be cheaper and loads more convenient. Parking isn't difficult and mostly free (if you don't mind a short walk :) ).
