Marche Bastille is large with ample stalls of not only food but with everyday goods as well but I am finding their prices higher than other Marches farther out. We loved Marche Daumesnil as the size is even larger but much more attractive prices. Marche...More

A great market with so much to offer. Ingredients for lunch or dinner later that day, or a quick snack while you wander round the many stalls. Plenty to offer.

I love walking through this neighborhood market to admire the displays of food, especially the fish and the fruit. Very friendly and funny merchants. Famous for bio products. Check for days when it is open.

Far larger than any farmers market near home. We went on Thursday, which is supposed to be smaller than Sunday's market. It was impressive! Easy Metro access and adjacent to the Bastille opera house.

Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made
for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming
bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s
at night this area really comes to life. Students and
young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille
and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock
to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait
for coveted tickets during the day. Towards
